We are covered by the Environment Agency to enable us to extract and dispose of waste fuel safely and legally.

No matter if the fuel storage is a subterranean tank, a mobile bowser, or even a few containers in a garage, if we are able to get to it, we could certainly empty it.

Water Contamination or AdBlue Contamination

Water contaminated fuel, regardless of whether it's unleaded or diesel, is usually a serious issue to deal with in a vehicle - especially in modern-day common-rail engines.

Water or AdBlue in your petrol or diesel will often lead to idling problems, irregular running, abnormal smoke and, if it is not dealt with correctly, oftentimes blown injectors. Water in petrol is less complicated to clean out compared to water in diesel - mostly because diesel is an oil. However we can deal with both situations very expediently.

Remember that if the vehicle has been run on the water contaminated fuel it will quite possible require a new fuel filter to be fitted because the old one will undoubtedly be completely water-logged and ineffective.

Wrong Fuel Assist Stadhampton - Wrong Fuel in Car Stadhampton

I had enjoyed a perfect day golfing on my holiday and was feeling satisfied the next working day as I set out to aid a new family vacationing in Stadhampton. They pulled over after filling diesel into their pristine Porsche Cayman, and the car was around half an hour's travel away. I turned up at their car and smirked as I listened to the woman telling her partner off for being so foolish. "Just how could you even find a way to put the wrong fuel in the car?" she told him. I tried to clarify that this occurs on daily basis in Oxfordshire and that it is absolutely nothing to fret about, however he yet still got an ear bashing. I felt sorry for the boy. Anyways, I cleaned up and removed the polluted fuel, gave the motor a flush and gave it some correct fuel. Watching them drive away I shouted bon voyage and thought about what my missus would tell me if ever I did the same thing... I'd never ever hear the end of it!

How to find out if I put the wrong fuel in my car?

Well, there are a few things to can check that will be able to tell you:

    • Loss of engine power – can feel like the car has run out of fuel
    • A lot of smoke (more than usual)
    • Engine coughing or starting to splutter
